Konnex Logistics

The "Logistics" software solution from Konnex GmbH was developed for logistics specialists and the logistics divisions of manufacturers and service providers. Thanks to its diverse functionalities, it enables the responsible personnel to manage loading plans, yard areas, and warehouses efficiently and reliably. It enables real-time tracking of trucks, deliveries, and all intralogistics processes in preparation for deliveries.

• Gatekeeping and Yard Management

  The gatekeeping function enables both simple and precise control of the entry and exit of vehicles. This ensures safe and efficient handling at the gate. The entry of trucks can be controlled by license plate number, forwarding agent, or supplier name. Truck drivers receive an SMS as soon as they are to drive onto the premises - with precise route instructions and info on the docking location. With the Yard Management module, companies can effectively manage their yard areas and plan waiting and parking spaces, as well as optimal routes for trucks so they don't block each other and can maneuver freely.

• Dock Scheduling

  The Dock Scheduling module allows the company to optimize docking operations of trucks for loading and unloading. With a daily view, a table overview, and escalation levels (scheduled deliveries, special trips, cab), incoming and outgoing goods can be efficiently planned and managed.

• Dock Booking

  Booking loading docks and docking locations is effortless with this feature. Freight forwarders and suppliers can thus conveniently book times that suit them, which then still have to be confirmed by the warehouse operator's logistics management.

• Intralogistics processes

  The software also supports the optimization of intralogistics processes. This includes the planning of storage areas, the visualization of warehouse layouts, and the tracking of movements within the warehouse. One focus is on the processes required before a truck is docked so that the loading/unloading process can start on time (e.g. picking, labeling, and packaging).

• Real-time dashboard & escalation levels

  A real-time dashboard allows users to track the status of trucks, deliveries, and the flow of goods in real time. Escalation levels ensure that critical operations are not overlooked and actions can be taken in a timely manner. Statistics provide an overview of how attributes such as on-time performance, reliability, and efficiency gains in preparation processes change over time.
